هُوَ فِي قَلْبِي الرَّجُلُ الْأَعْظَمْ • وَبِهِ ثَغْرُ الْكَوْنِ تَبَسَّمْ
He is, in my heart, the greatest of men; and by him the mouth of the universe smiled.

حِينَ أَتَى أَشْرَقَتِ الدُّنْيَا • صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ
When he came, the world shone bright — may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

هُوَ يَا كُلَّ النَّاسِ حَيَاةٌ • يَبْنِي، يُعْطِي، يَعْطِفُ، يَرْحَمْ
He is, O all people, life itself: he builds, he gives, he is tender, he is merciful.

ذَاكَ مُحَمَّدُ خَيْرُ رَسُولٍ • صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ
That is Muḥammad, the best of messengers — may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

Indeed I would ransom him with my life — may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

فِي قَلْبِي لَكَ فَاضَ حَنِينٌ • وَبِرُوحِي شَوْقٌ يَتَضَرَّمْ
In my heart, longing overflows for you; and in my soul a yearning blazes.

يَا رَبِّ اجْمَعْنِي بِحَبِيبِكَ • صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ
O Lord, unite me with Your beloved — may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
