نَبِيُّ اللهِ مُحَمَّدْ، خَيْرُ خَلْقِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدْ
خَيْرُ خَلْقِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدْ
The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad; the beloved of Allah, Muhammad
The Prophet of Allah, Muhammad; the best of Allah's creation, Muhammad
The best of Allah's creation, Muhammad
الْمَقْطَعُ الْأَوَّلُ

شَعَّ نُورٌ فِي الْمَدِينَةْ، وَاحْتَفَى الْكَوْنُ وَأَنْشَدْ
ذَا خِتَامُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَاسْمُهُ الْهَادِي مُحَمَّدْ
إِنَّهُ زَكِيُّ الْعِرَابْ، أُمُّهُ بِنْتُ وَهَبْ
هَاشِمِيٌّ فِي النَّسَبْ، وَابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ
وَابْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ
A light shone in Madīnah, and the universe rejoiced and sang
This is the Seal of the Messengers, and his name is the Guide, Muhammad
He is of pure lineage, his mother the daughter of Wahb
Hāshimī in descent, and the son of ʿAbdullāh

الْمَقْطَعُ الثَّانِي

قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ تَدَلَّى، وَاعْتَلَى نَحْوَ السَّمَاءْ
وَعَلَيْهِ الرَّبُّ صَلَّى، ذَا خِتَامُ الْأَنْبِيَاءْ
إِنَّهُ خَيْرُ الْبَشَرْ، أَحْلَى مِنْ نُورِ الْقَمَرْ
وَبِهِ الْحَقُّ انْتَشَرْ، وَاهْتَدَيْنَا فِي هُدَاهْ
وَاهْتَدَيْنَا فِي هُدَاهْ
At two bow-lengths he drew near, and ascended toward the heaven
The Lord sent blessings upon him, the Seal of the Prophets
He is the best of mankind, sweeter than the moon's light
By him the truth spread, and we were guided by his guidance
And we were guided by his guidance

الْمَقْطَعُ الثَّالِثُ (طَلَعَ الْبَدْرُ عَلَيْنَا)

طَلَعَ الْبَدْرُ عَلَيْنَا، مِنْ ثَنِيَّاتِ الْوَدَاعْ
وَجَبَ الشُّكْرُ عَلَيْنَا، مَا دَعَا لِلهِ دَاعْ
مَا دَعَا لِلهِ دَاعْ
The full moon rose upon us, from the valley of Wadāʿ
Thanks became due upon us, as long as a caller calls to Allah
As long as a caller calls to Allah
الْمَقْطَعُ الرَّابِعُ

صَادِقُ الْقَوْلِ رَحِيمْ، وَعَلَى الْخَلْقِ تَكَرَّمْ
خُلُقُهُ سَامٍ عَظِيمْ، وَعَلَيْهِ اللهُ سَلَّمْ
وَجْهُهُ نُورُ الْأَمَلْ، حُبُّهُ خَيْرُ الْعَمَلْ
وَبِهِ الْوَحْيُ اكْتَمَلْ، وَهُوَ مَحْبُوبُ الْإِلَاهْ
وَهُوَ مَحْبُوبُ الْإِلَاهْ
Truthful in speech, merciful, and gracious to creation
His character is lofty and great, and Allah sent peace upon him
His face is the light of hope, his love the best of deeds
By him revelation was completed, and he is the beloved of God
And he is the beloved of God
